GrandValle raises premium lambs on a diet supplemented with grape by-products, employing low-carbon farming techniques. The herd consists of 2,000 sheep, kept in semi-confinement. Fiber-rich grape skins and seeds, a by-product of the grape industry, serve as a key supplement in their feed. Herbicide use has been significantly reduced since forage from production areas began supplementing the sheep’s roughage. In line with waste reduction policies, animal manure is composted and used to enrich soil in the grape and mango fields, enhancing soil health and closing GrandValle’s sustainable production cycle.
